Our Story

Jake is an author, entrepreneur, and videographer with a deep expertise in South Korea, its culture, and its language. From a young age, he nurtured a passion for Korea, which led him to fulfill his “Korean Dream” by moving in Seoul in 2015.

To assist fellow Korea enthusiasts, he created The Korean Dream website, which has become the top-ranked French-language site on Google for travel advice about Korea.

He also shares his passion through his YouTube channel, featuring diverse videos that captivate over 140,000 subscribers. As an author, he has written several books on Korean language and culture.

In 2016, Jake began his journey as a guide with Airbnb experiences in 2016 , starting as a party guide and later expanding to food tours and Korean language initiation workshops.

Now, he’s excited to offer content and tours in English, sharing his passion for Korea with fellow dreamers from around the globe.
