Have you ever wanted to master the art of Korean cooking, only to feel lost when faced with complicated recipes and hard-to-find ingredients? Maybe you’ve tried on your own but found it challenging to capture those authentic flavors?

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and this workshop is exactly what you need!

Join us for an immersive Korean cooking workshop led by a native Korean host, right in her own home. Experience the warmth and authenticity of traditional Korean cuisine as you’re welcomed into her personal kitchen.

In just one afternoon, you’ll learn to prepare beloved dishes like sweet and savory Bulgogi, crispy Kimchi Jeon, and the iconic Kimbap. We’ll guide you through each step, sharing the techniques and traditions that make Korean cooking so special.

Worried about language barriers? Don’t be. We’ll provide real-time translations, so you can ask all the questions you want and truly enjoy the experience.

Our adventure begins at a Korean supermarket, where you’ll explore and learn about the unique ingredients you’ll be using. Then, it’s back to the kitchen to create and, of course, savor your delicious creations in a relaxed and friendly setting.

But the best part? You’ll leave with all the tips and tricks you need to recreate these dishes at home, so you can bring a taste of Korea into your own kitchen whenever you like!

To make sure everyone gets personal attention, we’ve kept the group small—just 6 participants.

Details:

  • Group Size: Minimum of 2 people required; if less than 2 are booked, the workshop will be canceled, and you’ll receive a full refund.
  • Time: Meet at 4:00 PM for a 3.5-hour session.
  • Location: The exact location in central Seoul will be provided after booking.
  • Price: 69USD per person. Feel free to bring containers if you’d like to take some leftovers home.

If the available dates don’t work for you, just let us know, and we can arrange a session that fits your schedule. Contact us at support@koreandreamers.com.

A very good activity not to be missed in Seoul! The workshop is divided into 3/4 parts: a small guided tour of a supermarket to learn more about common everyday ingredients in Korea (where you can also ask questions and do some shopping!), which ends with a visit to a Korean bakery/pastry shop (where we can also feast our eyes!), the cooking class (with lots of interesting information and explanations), and finally the tasting (which is a substantial meal! We can even take home our leftovers if needed). Moreover, Jake and Namin are excellent hosts with a welcome that matches their kindness. You can go there with confidence; it's guaranteed to be an enjoyable, enriching, and educational moment ^^

A great moment to enjoy alone or with friends. The explanations are clear and precise, and we also learn about local products with a market tour. The atmosphere is very friendly with Jake and the chef, and the class is very complete and well organized with all the equipment available, ending with a tasting of our masterpieces! I recommend it if you are curious about Korean culture; the food is also a must!

A great workshop! My friend and I loved these hours spent cooking :) The anecdotes, advice on using spices, and the time spent preparing the dishes were very interesting, and the chef was very friendly. Thanks also to Jake for the 3.5 hours of Korean-French translation. Don't hesitate to take this course, which helps you discover the history, life of Koreans, and their cuisine!

An incredible experience, a fabulous welcome. Jake and his cooking chef are fantastic. They are generous with explanations. The food is very good. In a place that made us discover life in Korea in a different way. Do it without hesitation. Thank you a thousand times, Eric and Catherine.

A unique moment! The best of both worlds: benefiting from the expertise of a native Korean and translation in French by Jake. Nothing is missed, and we feel free to ask questions. The chef guides us with patience and kindness, and everything seems extremely easy. The result is delicious, and I can't wait to recreate it at home! Definitely THE cooking class to take during your visit!

  4. It was an excellent moment!!! It’s not just a cooking class. It’s a truly beautiful experience, a real sharing in a friendly atmosphere. It starts with a tour of the supermarket, for all the tips, which allows you to reproduce the dishes when we return to France when we miss Korea. Namin and Jake are really lovely, attentive, and very patient. Thank you for this beautiful sharing!!! I would definitely come back ❤️

  5. By choosing this course, you will receive much more than just a cooking class. Namin and Jake offer a complete experience that starts with a visit to the supermarket to explain the products used in Korean cooking. During the class, they are attentive, providing lots of advice and explanations. Namin tells us about the origins of the dishes we cook. But what I liked most was the fact that it’s a real sharing moment. Whether you know how to cook or not, it’s a real pleasure. And I haven’t even mentioned the tasting!!!
