We’ll meet at lunchtime to explore a lesser-known market that’s a hidden gem away from the tourist crowds. Here, you’ll enjoy the same great dishes as at Gwangjang Market, sampling a variety of Korean street food delights. We’ll end the tour at a restaurant renowned for its jeon, a typical Korean dish, paired with makgeolli, traditional Korean rice wine!
After our market adventure, I’ll take you to a large hypermarket in a shopping mall to help you pick up ingredients for Korean dishes, Korean snacks, or even souvenirs for your loved ones.

A very pleasant experience. Discovery of a traditional market where locals are, not overrun by tourists, which makes the experience enjoyable because we were in a small group. The advantage of touring the market with Jake is being able to taste dishes that we wouldn’t have dared to order with explanations that go along with them. Jake takes the time to comment and answer our questions.
It’s an incredible experience, at the heart of authenticity! You discover lots of things, smells, colors, and flavors… fortunately with the help of Jake as a super guide; he’s almost like an older brother who accompanies us because often we wouldn’t have dared to venture out on our own! A must-do if you want to get a glimpse into the daily life of Koreans!
Thanks to our great guide Jake, an immersion in authentic places with the discovery of new flavors that delighted our taste buds. Off-the-beaten-path escapes that show us all the beauty of Korea. A very good memory of this food trek.
Ah, this food tour brings back beautiful memories: tasting dishes during the market visit was a real treat for the taste buds but also for the eyes with all those colors. It was also an opportunity to be in direct contact with Koreans. The supermarket visit to buy gifts outside tourist spots with their sometimes high prices was also a great idea.
